I have the detail needed to create objects from an issue, Post Functions and Script Runner Scripts etc.
I'm just wanting to understand how others have managed the capturing of data from an issue to then create / update an Assets Object.
Do the majority create a Custom Field to replicate the Object Attribute?
Is this a preferred method or overkill with custom fields?
I have the use of bundle fields, so did think about one bundled field for each object type, but then there isn't the option for an Assets lookup on a bundled field.
Is a combination of custom and bundled fields the way to go?
How have others achieved the same?
