We are trying to set up an automation rule when the service desk issue transitioned we are creating n issue in the Jira Software project. We have another rule setup in Jira Software to create another issue in the same Jira Software project. Jira Software project automation rule is not getting triggered when an issue is created via the Jira Service Desk automation rule.
Service Desk Rule:
Issue transitioned --> Create an issue in Jira Software (This is working)
Jira Software Rule:
Issue created --> Create another issue in the same project (This is not working)
You need to be sure that your secondary rule is set to allow it to be executed by another rule. By default this isn’t set when you create the rule.
