Create customer notification for ticket moving to a new status

Hi,

I just added a new status in the workflow of a ticket and i would like the customer who reported a ticket to receive an email notification when the ticket moves to this new status.

Any ideas?

Look to Automation. For example...

trigger - issue transitioned

conditions - optional based on you needs

action - add comment and share with customer OR send email to Reporter. I prefer the first as the comment provides history
