Hello all,
I have created a new project (Team-managed service management).
Because I'm in need to create a project with a drop list menu to make it easier for our users.
But I'm blocked because the field of the summary is required
So, please advise us, What should I do in this situation?
- Should I make a new project? if yes, please let me know the name of the project
- There is a solution instead of creating a new project
Thanks and Regards

Hi @Nokrashy ,
The summary is always required. But you can hide the Summary field from the Portal and give it some default value. This way the users who raise a ticket on the portal will not see the Summary field.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'a project with a drop list menu'.
Kind regards, Rik
Hi @Rik de Valk,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I mean by 'a project with a drop list menu' that i want the project be depened in the request type on Dropdown list which i choosed, but the issue that the user MUST write a summary and i don't need the summary.
As shown in the attached screenshot:
I need only these data in the Customer Reuest Form (Dropdown - Description - Phone number - Order ID - Labels)
I don't need Summary, but it's required and i can't make it optional
And as shown in the second screenshot in my view of requests
The Drop down list in not appeared and I don't know Why!?
But i appears in the details of the request as shown in the third screenshot
Regards
