Create a Google Calendar event on issue transition

Hello there.

I am looking for a way to create Google Calendar recurring event on a date from a custom field in Jira when the issue transitioned from status to status. As from I understand, to achieve that I need to execute some REST HTTP Post request with the content of a custom field on issue transition, so how do I proceed with that?

We use https://n8n.io/ to add Social Media posts (Jira tickets) to our Google calendars. n8n.io is free tool, you just need to host it yourself :)

I use automate.io for this purpose now. It's affordable and easy to use. I use this to populate a google calendar with release dates currently.
