Comments not showing in email notification

When I reply to customer (external or internal) on an issue, the email notification received just shows "[●●●●●]" as the comment made. How do I fix this? Please help

I will check if the email notification for the public commented added is not corrupted.

Go to public comment added configuration in the project settings page (you need to be the project administrator):

  • Your project
  • Project settings
  • Customer Notification
  • Click edit for Public Comment added

Verify that the template is not broken.

The default is something like:

If the following persists despite rebuilding the whole configuration, then I would suggest raising a ticket with Atlassian because this should not be the case.
