Clarification Regarding Single Sign-on Integration

Currently on a free plan but considering getting the subscription if our end users are able to use SSO to sign in to the portal site. 

Configure SAML single sign-on with an identity provider | Atlassian Support

The documentation on the site doesn't make it clear if this SSO support is just for our internal agents or can be used by our end users.

@[deleted] Are your end users (customers) and agents on the same identity provider?  If they are then it will also work for them.
