Checklist in JSM

Hello, I would like to know if in JIRA Service Management, the checklist feature is integrated like in JIRA Cloud, or if it's necessary to download an app within JSM to have the checklist option.

Thanks in advance!

@Daniel Bermudez

You would need to download an app for that. Here are some options for you to consider. I see that you are on a free plan, but many of these apps have a cost. You can filter to find ones that are free for your plan though.

Hey, @Daniel Bermudez

You will probably need a checklist app for a checklist option in JSM. There are some handy options like Smart Checklist that allow you to add checklists even to the Service Management Portal so the users can see the progress on their request in real-time.

Hello,

If you decide to consider third parties apps, I would like to also recommend our Multiple Checklists for Jira. It allows you to add checklists to your Jira Serve Management issues. Some of its features are:

  • Customizable statuses, so that you can communicate the progress on the checklist item however you like.
  • Automations, which gives you possibility to add checklists templates automatically, when specific parameters are met.
  • Workflow validators, which can help you to enforce some rules, for example that you can't complete task before the checklist is completed.

However, our checklists works only in Jira issue view, meaning that those checklists won't be visible for your customers on their form. If it is still something that would interest you, you can try out our checklists for free or in an Interactive Demo here.

Have a great day!

@Daniel Bermudez -

Out of the box, it is not supported.  However, you can search in Atlassian Marketplace for third party add-on that support your ask -

Take a look at this add-on that I found -

Hope this also helps.

Hi @Daniel Bermudez

As mentioned you would need a third-party checklist app to achieve this.

you might consider our Issue Checklist for Jira. Free app, which allows you to create multiple checklists inside of the issue view.

You can add a checklist automatically to newly created issues using Checklist Templates. You can also use automation in many different ways to enhance your work.
