We are changing our email addresses to another verified domain on our Jira instance. Lets say abc.com to xyz.com The company that aquired us (Xyz) also has Jira instances on their end (we are changing to their domain). We have not claimed accounts as we do not want them to recieve the emails yet but they have added the verification for us for the domain.
On changing the users emails, some of them got the verification links and they have managed to login using the new email (after reseting the password) BUT the issue is 2 users tried verifying but ended up logging in with the new email to a new Atlassian account it seems. Since it seems new with the xyz.com email, they have went and deleted the accounts as it had the email we want to use. I still see their abc.com emails on our Jira instance.
Please advise if we could Confirm that there are 2 accounts for the users and if so the deletion they did can be done sooner so we can rename the existing users email from abc.com to xyz.com
Hi @Yatish Madhav,
