Hello,
I need some help. Here is what I am trying to do:
For our organization I created three different REQUEST TYPES. All these REQUEST TYPES are part of the same project.
The idea is that, each REQUEST TYPE will have 1 distinct custom field to it.
I created those custom fields and made them mandatory.
However, what happens on the portal is that it is requiring ALL 3 custom fields to be filled (the correct way is to have one shown and required for that particular request type),
When I try to remove the field it gives me this error:
"Cannot remove this field. JIRA service management created this field...."
Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Randa Seif welcome to the Atlassian Community!
How did you make these custom fields required? In the request form or via the field configuration?
Don't use field configuration, just make them required on the request form only.
