Cannot add viewers in a new dashboard

Hello,

As a jira administrator I have created a new dashboard.

When trying to add viewers and I choose the option group, my drop down list only shows the group jira administrators, even though we have several other groups.

Any ideas why I can't see the other groups?

I should also mention that I do have the permission 'Create Shared Objects', which gives me the ability to share dashboards and filters with other users, groups and roles.

Hi AH,

You need to be a member of a group in order to share dashboard with that group. See this KB for more details - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/unable-to-share-a-dashboard-with-a-specific-group-622624843.html

What you can do is add yourself as a member of the group you want to share with or change ownership of your dashboard to a member of that group for them to share out.
