Can we have scrolling portal announcements in JSM? If yes how can we get this done?

When using JSM, can we have scrolling portal announcements?

If yes, how can we get this done?

As of now the announcements seems bland!!!! :-) 

Can we change the font of the Announcements?

Was hoping to get a response on this query. 

Can anyone from Atlassian respond? Is this functionality available? If not is this a road map item? If road map item, can you please share the tracking info?
