Can't see "Issues in this epic" when creating a new task/story

Bar Abergel July 7, 2022

Hey guys!

I'm using Jira Service Desk software and I started to use Epics.

When creating a new Epic, I'm creating a new Issues in this epic but for some reason i can't see the issue under the epic.

I guess it has to do with the fact that my Epic is connected to a dedicated Portal request form that I've created but I need to use it in order to modify the issue view.

Please assist!

Thanks :)

@Bar Abergel -

I agreed with what @Mikael Sandberg stated.  This is also true with JSW project.  In general, if a field or section (i.e Issue in this epic) is not populated, you will not see them in the Issue View UI from the project.

Hope this helps.

You are correct, the reason the "Issues in this Epic" is not showing up is because you are using the epic in a JSM project. It would only show up if you link an issue to the Epic.
