Yong March 1, 2022

Hi,

I try to change the display language from JSM customer portal. I did see the displied language is English[Default], but after I changed it from account setting from English to Chinese. And it still keep the English display.

Hi @Yong ,

please verify that your JSM Project has chinese as available language.

Add languages to your service project

Your team can add and edit translations based on the languages of your service project customers. Adding translations is especially important for customized content, such as help center announcements, which will otherwise appear in your default service project language.

To add languages and translations:

  1. From your service project, go to Project settings > Language support.

  2. Select Add language.

  3. Choose the language and select Add.

Here a complete guide for Service Desk projects https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicemanagementserver/providing-help-in-multiple-languages-1014679294.html

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

Thank you for your reply.

I did have Chinese(Taiwan) enabled on my project.

And I did test it.

I though the system make the Chinese (Taiwan) and Chinese (China) wrong.

My project setting is enabled Chinese (Taiwan).

But I found that If I want to see the Chinese (Taiwan), I need to set 中文(简体) on my prefer language which in Chinese meaning is Chinese (China) .

It's wrong, Chinese (Taiwan) is 中文(繁體).
