Hi there,
I have Affected Services on the Request a change form, but I wanted to have a second drop down box display values based on the selected service.
In Assets I have applications that run off a value in Services, so when Service A is selected the second drop down shows the Applications that have a reference to Service A
I can't seem to get the filter scope to work properly to be able to limit the values based on the affected service selection
Thanks
I know I can build a customfield and point it at Services then run an automation to update Affected Services on the issue to ensure the parent affected issues field is in sync with the new field I created, but then I basically have two services fields on the issue view
Just wondering if you worked out the filter scope for the field.
I was battling with this exact problem today.
I have also looked at this in a different way. Instead of asking for the service, then the applications impacted. Why not just ask for the applications impacted and then get an automation to identify the services impacted?

I face the same problem and we are just providing the services to the customers as this is the higher level with way less entries. The customer will not now the exact internal application depending on that service.
