Can I make EPIC tickets visible for Customers?

Hi Team,

We are currently working on a new project for a customer. We are able to make Feature tickets visible to the customers. However, we cannot make "EPIC" tickets visible for the customer who are not our employees.

Do we have any workaround.?

How are you making the features visible to customers? In theory, you should be able to make Epics visible as well using a similar process.

Thanks,

Kian

@Thulasiraman Nagarajan -

In JSM, customers can only see issues if the issues are created via a visible Request Type setup from the portal.

So if Epic issues are created and they are not associated to any Request Type (visible not hidden), then they cannot access them via the portal UI.

Question - Why are you using Epic issue type in JSM env?  Epic issue type is typically for Jira Software Application project and not for JSM project.

Hope this helps.

Hi, @Joseph Chung Yin  Thank you for the clarifying my doubts. This helps me better.
