Boolean for IQL filter

Andrei Viguro January 28, 2022

Hi,

Wanted to ask about IQL queries and Boolean attribute in Insight. So i have 2 Object types "devices TEST (scrn 1)" (that contains my 4 devices with 2 types (type1 and type2)) and "TEST (scrn 2)" - where i want to create object (for example User who use device with type2 (device 2 or 4) - is that possible to select (in device field while creating new object in TEST) only devices with TYPE2 (2 or 4) if test2 checkbox is selected and for TYPE1 the same (if selected test1 checkbox then show only devices with type1) (scrn 3)

Thank you.

Hi @Andrei Viguro ,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

No, I don't think it is possible.

In "device" attribute configuration you can fill in "Filter by IQL" and limit the list of shown devices (for example: type = test2, which means only devices with type test2 will be shown), but you cannot limit the list based on the status of your checkboxes during the object creation.
