I have a number of forms that will stay 'open' and be edited periodically by the customer.
Is there a way to trigger an automation so when an exiting form is edited and resubmitted in the customer portal it can change the status?
I can't seem to see a section for that exact scenario.
unfortunately there is no trigger for form submission. You might be able to utilize the "Field Value Change" trigger on the "Froms submitted" field, which holds the number of submitted forms. By comparing the previous value to the current value, you could see whether a form was reopened (number decreases) or resubmitted (number increases). See: Jira smart values - issues | Cloud automation Cloud | Atlassian Support ({{fieldChange}})
Hope this works/helps. Haven't yet used this workaround but it's the best I could come up with while thinking about the problem.
Greetings
Gideon
