Automating the creation of service requests on a schedule

I want to be able to create an automation for one of our servicedesk that includes a service request to be able to create daily checks for example and have it assigned to an servicedesk customer.

The Automation works well to create the service request but I cannot set the request type field as part of the automation. When choosing the fields to set and selecting request type, it says

 

Request type can't be edited here

You will need to use the "Edit request type" action instead.
It creates it and then the request type has to be classified by the agent afterwards. Any way to force this as part of the automation?

Hi @Nick Turner ,

The error you are seeing provides the clue to the fix. Please see the rule example below. Basically you need to use the "Edit request type" action within a branch after the Create action.
