Hi,
I have an attachment field in my request form that does not show up when using login-free portal. It shows up when logged in.
I have "Service project customer - portal access" granted for "Create Attachments" in the project settings.
The following is from Atlassian's website, I don't see "Attachment" as an unsupported field. Can someone confirm if it is unsupported or am I missing some settings?
Thank you.
Hi @endgame_ops
Thank you for the question.
Unfortunately, the attachment field isn't supported with login-free access. It's an oversight that JSM's documentation doesn't include this in the list of unsupported fields - sorry about that! I will work with the team to have this updated in our docs.
We might consider adding support for attachments in the future but this isn't confirmed. I have created a public Jira ticket to help track demand for this suggestion: JSDSERVER-15077: Add support for the attachment field for login-free users. Please add your vote and any further information about your use case to help us better understand customer requirements for this feature.
Thank you!
Charlie
Hi @endgame_ops
Did you have the proper permission scheme configuration to grant portal to add attachments ?

Do I need any other permissions?
I have gone through this document to setup the portal:
