Hi all.
We have been using Jira Assist for quite a while now, however every now and then, when a user replies on Slack, the Assist bot throws a random error message -
"Something unexpected went wrong. This comment could not be updated on the issue."
The funny thing is that it'll still update on the issue itself with the correct user but it will keep spamming that message whenever that specific user replies on Slack, leading to a bunch of error messages that nothing can be done about.
It also highlights the "This Comment" but it then just redirects me to the thread itself and not the actual message causing the issue.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
This sounds like a bug might have been introduced.
I suggest you open a support ticket with Atlassian as I am seeing others say the same thing.
The main report is on the GUI, but I expect that this is related.

You need to raise an issue at Atlassian Support, as it relates to your instance.
Or see Atlassian Status, https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/
I don't have it on mine and on instances I manage.
