I got a customer query:
"We would like to use Assets in JSM for Contract Management. Some of the requirements are:
- Create an asset/agreement/supplier.
- Specify which department uses the agreement (IT, HR, Finance, etc.)
- State which company is part of the agreement (XYZ & Co, ABC & Co., etc.)
- Upload more than one agreement/document per asset
- Be able to search for these assets
- Org no
- Enter contract owner.
- Reminders to contract owners when the contract is nearing its "end"
- Payment terms
Enter dates for e.g.:
- when the agreement was signed
- When the contract must be renewed.
- Upload date
Free text fields that can be searched on e.g.:
- Subcontractors used by supplier
We also want to be able to control who has access to these agreements.
- 1-2 admins who have access to all agreements.
- Users who have limited access only to their own providers/contracts.

I know Atlassian advertise it that Assets can be used for this purpose. It is just that I have never seen some using it for such.
Is there hope?
