Assets - copy avatar from a referenced object

Hi!

I'm currently in the process of setting up a customer installbase in our JSM Assets.

Currently i have a certain 'asset', representing a physical object installed at our customer. this asset has multiple reference, the likes of 'brand', 'model' etc.

We've set it up in such a way that these references are objets of itself. For Model specifically we've added a picture of that type as an avatar.

Now i'm being asked to sync that avatar to the asset.

So if i create an asset (or update as such) and link it to a specific model, i need the avatar of that model to be copied to the actual asset.

i've found methods where i can upload a new image and reference that via the 'avatarUUID'. However i'm not finding any information about how to do it for already existing avaters.

any help here?
