Hi, I have a helpdesk project with 3 people and I need to set an auto assign rule for the first person from helpdesk(not customer) that comments in the ticket by email reply or directly on the Jira platform.
I have set -Trigger Issue commented: comment is the main action
-User condition User who triggered the event is not a customer and Asignee is Empty/Unassign
-Then Assign the issue to Specify user User who triggered the event
But....nothing happens...
Any help will be much appreciated!
Hi!
I tested this out, and the following worked for me for internal and external comments.
Is the user you tested this with an assignable user?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Yes the user that I have tested with is is part of the helpdesk project but until now we had to manualy assign the issue. We are only 3 people in the helpdesk and it's helpful for us to auto assign the issue to whom commented first on the issue.
Thanks again!
