The standard plan allows up to 5000 agents. If you are planning to upgrade to standard licensing and then add users as and when you have new staff joining, you are welcome to do so.

If you face any issues while adding agents, then the Atlassian support team would need to refresh your new license from their end.

Thank you so much with your response, i am aware of the 5000 agents provided under standard licensing but also i have realised that when entering the number of agents i prefer it reduces the amount therefore i thought that we can pay for only agents we have instead of the whole 5000.
Does it make any difference if i pay for only 6 agents/users and paying for the whole 5000 agents/users? i am aware of the difference between features per licensing.
