Add an internal note automatically when you receive an email

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to automatically create an internal note in a Jira ticket when receiving an email that contains its reference?

Hi @Daniel Vansnickt 

I would expect this to start primarily from the email client you've got and not from Jira itself. Someone sends and email that containts a jira issue and somehow you have to send an http request to post an internal comment to that jira issue.

OR

You setup a rule to send an email to an email handler you have setup which only adds comments to an issue (but it will add a comment of the whole email body).
