Hello,
We need test environment to work on Jira.
We have an admin team of 4 people.
Is there a test environment for us to test the free Jira?
We don't want to make any changes to the live Jira.
Hi @Barış Özer - Jira Premium and Enterprise offer a sandbox. For lower tiered licensing, your best bet is to simply create a Free instance here:
Hi @Mark Segall
Thank you for return.
We have an existing Jira Cloud license but it's active and live right now.
We need an environment to test projects, workflow and automation.

Yes you can create a free environment and simply give it a name like this:
YOURINSTANCE-test.atlassian.net

Hi @Mark Segall
One last question,
Can we transfer the service desk and other projects we currently use to this test environment?
Best regards,

You'd need to set up a free JSM instance as well. However, that only allows for 3 agent licenses. You'd have to recreate your environment manually, but you can definitely export/import data from one environment to the other once the test environment is set.

Hi @Mark Segall
Do you mind if I open it with the Atlassian Account I'm currently using?
Or should I create a test Jira directly with my gmail account?

Hi @Mark Segall
and how many days is test.atlassian.net free? How many days can we test? Is there time?

No time limit. The free instance is just has limitations around licensing and amount of global automation processing they can handle. I have one I use specifically proving out answers to community questions.
You should be able to create with any email account. It will be an isolated environment.
