AADSTS50105 | Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in

I have a new user in our environment who keeps getting "Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in" followed by the error details below.

AADSTS50105: Your administrator has configured the application Atlassian Cloud (12345567a1-0000-000c-8828-0000000002d)to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application. The signed in user 'jane.doe@acme.com' is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application.

This user is a direct member of all the same groups as every user in our company, however they are the only user experiencing this issue when attempting to complete the enrollment process as outlined in the invite.

Anyone ever encounter this issue or a similar issue ?

Atlassian Cloud services identify distinct user accounts by their email address.  I would recommend that this specific user reach out to their administrator to make sure that they are signed into Atlassian Cloud https://id.atlassian.com with the exact same email address that is listed for that user within the https://admin.atlassian.com site, as well as any kind of SSO/SAML integration that might be used by your organization.

Many times this kind of error happens because this user has an alias address, an additional period in the email address, a different domain, or something else that effectively makes the email address different than the one stored in Jira for that account.

The user's site-admin or organization admin should be able to help them to make sure we can confirm the exact email address that user is using to login to our https://id.atlassian.com site.
