Collecting Actionable Bug Reports

Jira Service Management bug reporting capabilities empower everyone within the organization to easily report software defects by leveraging a Jira Service Management portal. Bug reporting portals are customizable and provide countless configuration options. Enabling the flexibility required for gathering actionable information, resolving issues faster, and suiting any team or platform.

Jira Service Management is rooted in a collaborative and transparent approach to bug reporting and resolution. Teams and reporters remain informed on the status of progress, agents can group similar bug reports, and escalate the reports to associated Jira issues.

When engineers need to request additional information, communication can be sent through the portal where a reporter can upload attachments, and respond to additional questions. Once the issue has been marked as resolved in the associated Jira issue, reporters can be automatically notified through the portal.

Lastly, team members who report bugs do not require an additional Jira Service Management license to submit the report.
