Using the JAVA API to get hidden fields on the Service Desk

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any way of using the public JAVA API to know if an field is hidden on the service desk or not. See screenshot for more information. I know that there is an REST service available using rest/servicedesk/1/servicedesk/1/request-type-fields/hidden which is in fact used for this screenshot, but I would really need to use the JAVA API for this.
