Request Types not showing in Widget

Joanne Shovelton
November 1, 2017

I have created a widget for my Service Desk project and selected a "Default request type" and "Show all request types in the widget".

When I render the widget, only the default request type is available and none of the others are showing. Also can't de-select the default request type from the widget creation page (I can only select another default type).

Hi @Joanne Shovelton ,

The way the widget works is as follows:

  • The user may search for a request type you have set up
  • If his search string yields a result, then he may choose it
  • If it doesn't, then the default request type will make sure that the user will be eligible to send a request via the widget to your JSM project

Hope that helps!
