JQL search query based on current user component or custom field created for Department ??

Hi there, not sure exactly what you need, but for current user you want assignee= currentUser()
For the department, Susan is right, you would want to have a custom field that relates to your department, and then a queue set up that looks at all of those issues assigned to you.
Service Desk should come with an "Assigned to me" queue out of the box I believe but that wouldn't separate those queues into specific beyond issues that have been assigned to you.
