I am making request types, and need different details from the requesters. Therefor i would like to use the fields Labels or Summary twice in the same request type. But when I have chosen it once, i am not able to choose it again. How can I change that, so I can use the fields more than once?
The only solution I have found, is to make custom fields. But I am not allowed to do so, because we are part offer a large setup.
It's nonsense to use a field twice. If a user enters a summary at the top of the page and then another one in the middle, which one goes into the summary field?
Jira stops you from repeating a field because it would confuse the users and force admins to have to think about which data to keep and which to ignore.
I suspect you need to capture separate fields, not repeat the same ones. That means using custom fields.
