Hi,

Initially, we created one project "A" and we configured an email request when mail sent to id "abc@test" it will create a request in Jira sd and also we configured email automation using "abc@test".

Now we created another project "B" in same Jira sd now we want to configure email request functionality for project B.

So I want to know that can we use the same email id  "abc@test" for B?

If Yes then how can I configured and if No then why not possi

No and you should not.

Why? This leads to a race condition as Jira  sees an email and depending on which service for what project is running at the time, wrong issues could be created in the wrong project.

So email service for project A runs and your mail contains emails for project B, Jira cannot tell these apart and would process all the email creating all issues in Project A.

There are add-ons like email this issue or JEMH that work around this granting you the functionality you described but if you are using pure Jira service desk, use different emails.
