Creating a simple workflow from scratch

Hello,

I'm trying to create a simple workflow in JSD where a new case goes:

OPEN...

   UNDER INVESTIGATION...

      REQUESTED INFO FROM CUSTOMER

      ISSUE REPRODUCED

      WITH PARTNER

      WITH DEVELOPMENT

      ON HOLD

      NO RELEASE SCHEDULED

      RELEASE SCHEDULED

      SOLUTION SUGGESTED

      INACTIVITY CLOSED

      CLOSED

From UNDER INVESTIGATION I have added a transition to each of the statuses below it (I'll refer to them as 'sub-statuses'). I would like any sub-status below UNDER INVESTIGATION to be able to freely be able to move to any other sub-status (as many times as required as we deal with a case).

I think the answer is to choose 'Allow all statuses to transition to this one' for each of my sub-statuses but wanted to make sure this is the right way to do it.

Thanks in advance,

David

Hi David, if you choose "Allow all...." then the issues can also move from "sub-status" to another "status".

Hi Manuel,

Thanks for the quick response.

Just want to double check...are you saying that my proposed way of doing the workflow will work?

Thanks,

David
