Condition in a custom field

Good Morning

I created a field and would like to add a condition to it. How do I do that?

Example: When the analyst tries to complete the issue, if the field is not filled, I want JIRA to force it to fill in the field I created so that the issue can be completed.

Hello @Gabriely Gavanski ,

you could use workflow validator for the transition, which goes from needed status to Done status - "Field Required Validator" to be exact. There you can choose needed field and also error message which should appear, if the field is not filled in.

Check out this guide to set that up: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/advanced-workflow-configuration-776636620.html#Advancedworkflowconfiguration-validators

Regards,

Adam
