Children Display Macro seems to be not working

Kate Sobczyk October 11, 2019

Hi,

I have few customers and I need to share the Knowledge Base articles with them. I created group for each customer and restricted the articles (I followed: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-restrict-access-to-knowledge-base-for-certain-customers-966670627.html).

But it doesn't work. The customer can see all the non restricted articles after logging in to portal (it is correct). But cannot see the restricted articles even if the article has been restricted to this user. It is working on the wiki level (when I am adding and restricting the articles) but it is not working in the customer portal. I dont want the customer to access wiki, I want them to see the documents on the portal. Can you please advice why this is not working?

I also followed https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/children-display-macro-139501.html.

Can you please advice?

Regards

Kate

Hi Kate,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

As per the details you provided, I understood that you added a macro with the list of the pages and when the customer clicks on a link on the macro, they are redirected to Confluence, is that correct?

If they search an article on the portal if they click on it, does it show in the portal or in Confluence?

Note that, when we migrate customers to Atlassian account, they can access the Confluence pages that are linked to the customer portal, as mentioned on the article below:

Regards,
Angélica
