Cannot connect to mailbox with POP3

I want to use our mailbox to automatically create support tickets. The mailserver runs on Exchange.

I'm sure that my details are correct because when I test on I can connect to the server. (Using SSL).

When I enter the same details in Jira Service Desk I get this error: "unable to find valid certification path to requested target". 

What can I do to solve this?

You'll probably need to talk to your exchange administrators.

Possible that your exchange does not support pop3s or uses an invalid certificate.
