How do you manage your bug fixes and releases in JIRA?
Our previous flow was to mark the tickets as resolved, but not close them out until the client verified the bug was implemented in their environment and no further issues exist.
This period of time could have been anything from days to months, or even a year.
Therefore, I could not get true SLA stats.
I recently implemented a change in the flow whereby all Resolved tickets would be auto closed after 5 days of inactivity.
Our product team are not having issues with this (even though they initially signed up to it).
Basically, I am looking for your thoughts and information on how you manage these scenarios.
