Adding specific values by customs fields

Jonathan Frech

I'm looking for a way to add specific reference from another software solution in Jiira service desk.

There should be a custom field with 5 cells (Date,User,Reference-No,Type,Desk Issue). Im aware that one field is not a very hard challenge to do, but in my case i would need to create a list.

Every time the user fills my custom field, it should be added to a table that displays all references (just like you are putting items in a website shopping cart).

But the fields only should be visible at the corresponding issue.

Is there a solution for this?

I am not entirely certain if this can be done.  However it sounds like what you might want here is some sort of calculated custom field.   There are plugins for Jira that can handle that aspect.   I would recommend looking into the Jira Misc Custom fields plugin.   I know this plugin can allow you to create calculated custom fields based on a formula.   I am not sure if this can create the exact type of field you are looking for, but I think it is a step in the right direction.
