blocking a project role of creates some types issue in the project

Bruno Tiago February 19, 2016

Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to block my project role 'Customer'.

They can't have the permission to create some issue types in my 'issue types scheme'.

Is it possible to set specific issues to this role in creating issues?

There are several ways to do this, one of which is put a "Validator" in the "Create" event of your workflow. Try it with any of your favoured scripting add-on smile

JIRA doesn't have a way to limit the issue types created. You can search the forum for issue type security for some work-arounds. However they all have some type of problem.
