Hi,
What is the back end table and the Main Table that will give REQ Number(Issue Number) and the Respective Date fields that will be updated in JIRA from the front end
thanks
There's several tables involved, and you probably don't want to bother reading them (you certainly won't be writing to them)
Could you explain why you are asking about tables? There's almost certainly going to be a better way to do what you're trying to do without looking at the database.
Hi Nic,
Thanks for the Respone, we are trying to build a Report for Status from JIRA, which should read data from Database.
for that need to know where are all the date fields coming up from. How can I achieve this.
Thanks, Sowmya

Please, don't do this. Use the reports in JIRA that do it properly.
Could you define what your reports are trying to show to the user?

Hi Nic,
We just want to read data from the JIRA database which we are able to see front end.
We want to build a customized report out of this data in OBIEE Reporting tool for our requirement.
That is the reason we want to know which are the tables that holds data for the same. Expecially all the data with date fields

Sounds like a job for something like the Portfolio add-on, or one of the Roadmap add-ons.

Seriously, try reports in JIRA and the addons - reading the database directly is a nightmare, it's not designed for any form of reporting. The API is.

Jiraissue, changeitem, customfieldvalue, and there's a couple in the index which you won't get to.

If you're using plain internal users, then look at the tables with names beginning CWD
