Hi,

JIRA version 7.2.6
Our JIRA users are about to exceed the limit and we need to delete non-active users from our JIRA.
But the option to delete users in user management is not found.

The option to delete user is only available if the user is from Internal Directory.

The only way the option to delete appears is when I disable the directories.
But we cannot disable them on our Production server.

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

You shouldn't delete users anyway.  You should disable them if they're not needed any longer.

Disabled users won't count towards your licences, whatever groups they're in.

There are no any limitation on user count in JIRA.

Define which groups are used for licences and just delete these groups for users.

It seems that your JIRA instance get users from somthing else, most likely this is Active Directory.

Is it so?
