This is possible using the JIRA macro for Confluence: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/jira-issues-macro-139380.html (and http://blogs.atlassian.com/2013/07/display-jira-issues-in-confluence-more-power-more-control/).
Make sure both instances are linked using the Application Links.
There are other macro like Filter Results that can use existing saved filters in JIRA.
