I'm a new Jira user....how do I create a new project by copying and renamining an existing one

Rather than create a new project along with all the workflow/staging, I'd like to simply take an existing project and copy it in its entirety, renaming it in the process to the integrity is retained.

You'll need add-ons to do that.

But, if you create a new project, there's an option at the bottom of the "select template" box for "use shared configuration" - that asks you which project to share with and uses the same schemes for it.
