Copy comment creation date to clipboard

Hi,

how can I copy the creation date of a comment in Jira? 

If I select the creation date and then release the left mouse button, the comment is closed and nothing is copied to the clipboard.

Do you know a workaround to do that?

I found a workaround by myself: Copy the first few characters of the comment text together with the creation date and remove these additional characters when pasting the date.
