how to add a blocked column on business projects

Set up an internal project in jira cloud - business . Want to add a BLOCKED column between IN PROGRESS and DONE that can be transitioned to and from IN PROGRESS or moved to DONE

Hello Jane,

The board columns of your Business project are based on the workflow statuses of the project.

That been said, you only need to add the status Blocked to your project's workflow (Project settings > Workflow) with the transitions to the statuses In Progress and Done and a new column will be raised in your board, just like below:
