Team = All values are not showing up in Jira JQL Search filter query? Any idea.

Create new Issue Filter on "Team" field  (when no specific project designation is listed) is not populating dropdown list of available team values to select for the filter/search. However, Filter on "Delivery Team" field DOES show a dropdown list of values.  If "Delivery Team" shows value selections that can be picked for the filter, can the TEAM field functionality be modified to also display selection list of Team values?   SEE ATTACHMENT.

Hello @Radha Kandimuthu

The "Team" field is commonly used by different plugins like tempo, portfolio etc.

Thus, first you need to be sure that this field is  NOT a locked field but instead a field created by you with a list of team values. Secondly for a custom field to show values in basic search view you have to make sure that the "context" mapping for that custom field is available for all the issueTypes and Projects selected by the options before. Only then you will see the values.

Thanks Tarun for the clarification.

For "Delivery Team" field, without selecting the projects its showing up all the values in JQL filter query. Where is in Team field its showing up only the projects selected.

What is the difference between "Team field" and "Delivery Team field"?

Both the fields are different types of custom fields and having different contexts. You will have to see their contexts and their types in the custom field admin section. You need Jira admin rights to access that section of Jira.

We are facing apparently the same or a similar issue: we are using the TEAM field from Portfolio  and it is a locked field.

We also added the field to Jira screens and it shows up in the people section of the issue detail screen and can get edited there as well as in Portfolio.

When we try to search for a team using basic JQL like project = "S4 Program" and Team = "S4 (Primary) Data Team" it doesnt return any row.

In some cases this query returns rows however : project = "CRM Agile " and Team = 662

But not all values defined in Advanced Roadmaps are apparently searchable!

We would need to filter on Portfolio teams on Scrum boards. Any idea how to get this information ?

Same problem as above.

Using Team field from portfolio across various projects. All values show up in issue screens but not in JQL search query or board filters.

Appreciate insights on how to resolve this issue.
