Hello!
We have a customization request form that our customers fill out via a Google Form.
I created a form in Jira and would like to change to that. Is there a way to have customers fill out a Jira form by providing them a link? I don't want to open them up to an entire portal experience.
The short answer is no, you cannot just give them the link to the form and go from there. In order to access the form link you need to have an account on your instance.
Could this work with JSM? JSM allows you to have a customer portal with anonymous customers

Yes, in JSM it works, but Clare mentioned that they didn't want to open up the portal to the customer.

I am not sure specifically about Google forms but for Microsoft Forms there is a connector on the Power Platform that pushes the answers from the form into a jira issue. The customers in our case dont have access to Jira, only the MS Form when they are invited to it with the shared link.

If there was a way to have them go to JSM but not see anything else, I would be OK with that but I don't think it works that way.

No, they would see all the request types and the knowledge base if you have that enabled in the project. There is no way of hiding a set of request types for specific customers.

All, I ended up going with an APP called Smart Jira Forms. It's working for me!
