Hi there!
We’re exploring field rendering and would love to hear your stories about field customization.
Is there a field customization feature you’re missing? Would you like to change the look and feel of Jira to better suit your team’s workflow? This is your opportunity to let us know exactly what you need!
What are fields in Jira?
Jira issues are made up of fields. Some are built-in, like “Summary”, “Description”, and “Components.” Others you can add yourself - these are called custom fields.
Fields appear when you create, edit, or transition issues. They are also present on screens like dashboards, gadgets, and many more. Custom fields allow you to store information specific to your team's needs.
